Aviation education involves using science and math, which we use as building blocks to help reinforce many of the N.J. core curriculum standards. We use S.T.E.A.M. activities that promote science technology, engineering, art & math.
Our specialty camp challenges each individual student's unique level, as well as sharpens their math and science skills. No summer learning loss will take place here! We encourage reading, practice memorizing the phonetic alphabet, all while having FUN. Our goal is to empower the youth of tomorrow to establish F.L.I.G.H.T. values. Fearlessness, Leadership, Imagination, Gratitude, Honesty, and Tenacity.
Collaborating with experts in the field of aerospace education from the Flying W Airport, as well as the Young Eagles, the program has grown into a fun, action packed week. Students have the opportunity to fly with a "Young Eagle", build rockets, airplanes, and explore aviation with ALL hands on activities.
Students also have the opportunity to sample the camp program by participating in one of our Aerospace Days which are offered on select Saturdays throughout the year.
All the programs are held at the Flying W Airport, in Medford, NJ. The aerospace camp/days are taught by a N.J. certified teacher.
Enrollment is limited to 15 students per week.
