2025 Camp dates:

​

August 18-22. ages 10-14 

The camp will run from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The $425.00 fee includes lunch, snacks, supplies, speakers, trips, etc. Extended care is also available with swimming in the airplane-shaped pool! 

SAMPLE DAY

**9:00 AM - 10:00 AM**  

Whitewings (Word of the Day)  

- Discuss components of the airport model and the forces of flight.

 

**10:00 AM - 10:30 AM**  

Introduce the Cessna (10 main parts).  

- Gliders: Identify, label at least 5 parts, and decorate.  

- Complete the labeling worksheet and paint boxes.

 

**10:30 AM - 11:00 AM**  

Glider contest. 

 

**11:00 AM - 11:30 AM**  

Instruments 6-pack.  

- Choose 3 or more instruments to draw and label.

 

**11:30 AM - 12:00 PM**  

Lunch.

 

**12:00 PM - 1:00 PM**  

Whitewings.

 

**1:00 PM - 1:30 PM**  

Bernoulli Principle: Cup and straw experiment.

 

**1:30 PM - 1:45 PM**  

Snack/break.

 

**1:45 PM - 2:45 PM**  

Discuss color of the compass rose and the runway for the airport.

 

**2:45 PM - 3:00 PM**  

Phonetic Alphabet Bingo.
